• Consists of CDMP® team (Clinical & Coding Professionals)
• All members of the CDMP® team must attend meetings
• Weekly meetings, for one hour, for the first 3 months
• Assign a chair and co-chair – one from both disciplines (coding and clinical)
• Create an agenda for every meeting
• Ensure all disciplines are represented on this committee
• Maintain minutes for each meeting
• Provide educational opportunities with invited speakers
• Come prepared to provide solutions
