JATA offers a comprehensive program for physician education. Physician buy-in is critical to CDMP® success because the program is based on cooperation and involvement by the medical staff. Available Services

Physician Education Seminar

The Physician Education Seminar is a one and half hour to two hour dinner meeting. A JATA physician will present information to the medical staff regarding the benefits of improved documentation for both the hospital and individual physicians. Topics generally include, but are not limited to, the following listing below. JATA will add customized discussion after collaboration with medical staff leadership.

Physician Office Staff Workshop

The Physician Office Staff Workshop customized for delivery to the physicians’ office staff personnel. Approximately one hour to one and half hours in length, the workshop provides current information regarding CMS guidelines supporting physician practices and compliance initiatives.

Physician In-Office Consults

The in-office consults provide physicians with specific information regarding adequate documentation to promote compliance and to ensure appropriate reimbursement. For the most effective consultation, JATA should have access to both outpatient and inpatient records during a Physician In-Office Consult.

Physician Champion (Liaison) Education

Perhaps the most effective educational methodology is knowledge transfer to an on-site physician who can educate other physician leaders. A JATA physician will provide intensive interactive education, typically internet based, presenting actual clinical cases, specialty-specific opportunities, methods for motivating the medical staff, support for negotiation / facilitation of change.

Remote web-based Physician Services

JATA has developed remote education capacities to allow education to occur during regularly scheduled hospital meetings. Specialty group meetings are approximately 60 minutes in length and provide each specialty group of physicians. Other formats will provide an opportunity to interact with physician leader colleagues across the country.
